Wrapping up another year on Movers Who Blog!

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK truck in front of home

As 2022 comes to a quick close, it’s hard to believe the year passed us by so fast as we celebrate another successful one for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand.

Above all else, we were able to continue our mission of moving customers forward. With services like our traditional home moving, long-distance relocation, junk removal, storage plans, and more – we strive to be the go-to resource for anyone with moving needs.

On our blog platform, we continue to push out information and useful content to help our customers, whether it was moving day tips and tricks or information about our services for those interested in hiring us.

Take a look at some of our top blogs from the year and see if you missed anything that might be helpful to you!

1. These 5 items cannot be transported with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK’s junk removal service

“Your favorite home and business moving brand has expanded its service options to help you with junk removal, too. Utilizing our professionally trained movers and specialized junk removal equipment, we’ll now help you properly dispose of old items and junk you no longer need around your home or business.”

2. What your TWO MEN AND A TRUCK movers can’t transport during your next move

“Organization and planning can go a long way in eliminating some of this stress for you. Another area that’s important to keep in mind is learning what moving companies can’t move for you. This is vital information to know as you prepare ahead of time what belongings you might need to transport in your own vehicle.”

3. Five money-saving tips to save you some cash during your next move

“Cost is determined by a variety of factors when hiring movers: how much you’re moving, drive time, total hours or distance of the move, how many movers or trucks are needed, and more. However, there are a few simple things you can do to help save yourself money on your next move!”

4. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving services that don’t require a moving truck

“Our moving teams provide many services which don’t require a moving truck, allowing us to meet the needs of our customers with whatever moving situation they might have. Like any of our services, we will show up with professionally trained moving teams who are ready to handle any type of lifting, ensuring your belongings stay safe and protected from beginning to end.”

5. Frequently asked questions to think about as you prepare for your next home move

“Moving can be a stressful process, but when you hire professionals, it doesn’t have to be. We provide professionally-trained, background-checked, and drug-screened movers who use quality moving equipment to ensure our customers’ belongings are safe and secure throughout the entire move.”

6. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK gearing up for this year’s “Busiest Move Weekend”!

“With our upcoming ‘Busiest Move Weekend’, people can expect the same great service from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK that has helped build our reputation into what it is in the moving industry,” said Randy Shacka, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK President. “This weekend will challenge our core value of ’being your best and having fun’, and we gladly accept the challenge knowing how high the demand is for moving. This is a reflection of the great people working for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, and we take great pride in embracing this moment as we look forward to providing the best experience for our customers during this time.”

7. Avoid these 5 items when preparing to store items in a storage unit

“Storage facilities all have their own set of regulations and guidelines specific to their business, but there are also many things which cannot be put into storage, and it’s important to know what these are. We’ll go over a few of them below!”

8. Four big differences between hiring professional movers and doing it yourself

“Cost is usually the deciding factor when it comes to hiring professionals or spending time and energy to move yourself. Throughout the years, we’ve noticed there is a common misconception about the cost of moving and how much you’ll “save” if you do it yourself.”

9. Cut down on last minute moving tasks by utilizing a moving checklist

“Moving checklists are essential to organization with a home move, and organization goes a long way in ensuring you stay on track with your tasks, while helping to ease some of the pressure that comes with moving day. With a moving checklist, you’ll have the ability to track your progress in real time and get an idea of where you are in the moving process to get a better idea of what still needs to be done before the big day.”

10. Use these 5 professional packing tips for your upcoming move

“Packing is essential to a successful home move, and it goes a long way in taking the stress out of the entire process. Between proper packing and organization, you can significantly reduce the hassle of moving, save yourself time, and possibly even save yourself some money. Sounds like a win!”

Wrapping up 2020 on Movers Who Blog

TMAT060

The last few days of 2020 are finally here and wow – what a year it has been for everyone all over the world.

This year proved to be more challenging than ever, but our teams endured and made the best of it. With moving being deemed an essential business, we continued to move our customers and give back in the community – while adapting to new health and safety guidelines as we worked to keep customers, our teams, and the public safe.

We used our resources to give back to our communities when possible to help with COVID relief efforts, as well as our normal work with outstanding organizations like Convoy of Hope and Cheeriodicals.

We also continued to roll out or new junk removal service across the country, as well as fine-tuning some of our other specialty moving services. It’s been a wild ride in 2020, but we’re proud of the large strides we’ve made even through a trying year.

Check out some of our most popular blogs this year.

It’s no surprise 2020 has been tough on us all, and we’re more thankful than ever for everyone who continued to trust our brand, use our services, or work together with us to give back in communities everywhere. It is a major understatement to say that without all of you, we would not be where we are today.

The challenges of this trying year were not lost on us, but we’re incredibly grateful we’ve had the opportunity to remain in operation as an essential business and still work on moving customers forward who needed us most, doing so safely and within the guidelines of each community we operate in. We also were able to open franchises in new markets across the country, continue our work with our wonderful partners Cheeriodicals and Convoy of Hope, and also give back to the community in a variety of ways to help those who needed it.

Big news also came out this year regarding our new junk removal service!. We did all of this while maintaining and even improving our 96 percent system-wide customer referral rating, living up to our nickname, “Movers Who Care®”!

For those who have continued to work with us, follow what we do, or are thinking about using us in the future – thank you!. Here’s to hoping 2021 improves and we can get back to living our normal, everyday lives!

Enjoy a warm holiday season filled with relaxation, memories, and most importantly – stay safe!
