We offer two specialized long-distance moving options: expedited long-distance moving and Value Flex® crated moving. Each features different options and pricing, but both come with the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK care and commitment when handling your belongings.

Expedited long-distance moving

Our expedited long-distance moving plan is as straightforward as it gets when it comes to long-distance moving: our professionally trained movers will load up your belongings into our moving truck and hit the road!

Most of our trucks offer GPS tracking so you can keep tabs on your belongings in transit. You’ll also never share truck space with another customer’s items – only your belongings occupy the truck. Our expedited plan is the fastest long-distance moving plan, as the moving team heads straight to your next destination with your belongings – no detours.

Value Flex Crated Moving

Value Flex crated long-distance moving is built for those who need to ship a few items but have flexibility in their schedules and want to move on a budget. It features some of the same benefits as our expedited plan like no shared space in the crates but utilizes a third-party carrier in transit. However, your items will be loaded and unloaded by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving teams.

We made our name in the world of local home moving, but did you know that TWO MEN AND A TRUCK can provide the same world-class experience with long-distance moving, too?

That’s right! Throughout our 35 years of moving, we’ve worked hard to listen to our customers’ needs and build a package of long-distance moving plans that are sure to meet any moving need, budget, and situation. Long-distance moving can be a stressful process but with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, it doesn’t have to be.

We offer two long-distance options for our customers: expedited and Value Flex® crated options.

Expedited

The quickest and most traditional option that we have, you can expect a quick delivery time to your home, often times with the same movers who loaded up your belongings. We will provide an exact date of delivery for arrival of your belongings, which helps you plan ahead as you work to commute to your new residence.

Your items are the only items that are on the truck during transit, and we have GPS tracking on our trucks so you know where your belongings are at all times.

Value Flex – Crate This is a new service at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and is ideal for those who just need to ship a few belongings long distance. Your items are loaded into a secured, cardboard crate that holds approximately 1,000 lbs. The crate is then loaded onto a third-party carry and delivered to the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK location closest to your new destination.

As always, your belongings are the only items in the containers and you are given the same 48-hour window of delivery you would get with Value Flex. Please note: This option is only available at select TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise locations.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s Value Flex® service offers an affordable option for long-distance relocation

More than two years ago, we launched our Value Flex® long-distance moving service – a new spin on long-distance moving that provides a more affordable option for those with a flexible schedule. Since launching in the spring of 2017, we have greatly improved this service and worked to tweak it, making it a worthwhile option for those looking to relocate long-distance while on a budget.

“The program has been running very well,” said Ryan Wells, logistics operations manager for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. “We’ve been able to continuously increase the number of long-distance moving options we can provide to our customers, and our franchises are working together to help meet customer needs and provide them with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations nearby to make Value Flex a reliable option.”

With a dedicated team in place at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK to handle all things Value Flex, we’ve developed routes all across the country which allows us to handle moves to and from virtually any location in the country.

“Our biggest goal with Value Flex is just getting more TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations on board with the service so our customers have additional options for long-distance moving, and for storage,” Wells said. “We always want to remain competitive as a brand, and pushing this service further allows us to stay competitive for customers.”

Your items are loaded into one of our safe and secure 16-foot portable boxes and picked up by a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving team closest to you. They are then driven to your new destination, where a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving team in your new city will help with the unloading. You will never share space with other customer belongings, and we’re able to provide a two-day guaranteed delivery window for your belongings. .

“It’s definitely more reasonable pricing than competitors or other companies I’ve seen that do long-distance moving,” said Davin Cornelius, a trainer and dispatcher at the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Denver location. “What’s cool about Value Flex is that customers are given the two-day window. Most other companies that do long-distance moves, you’re given a big window, so it could be a week or so before you see your belongings. We communicate with customers throughout the entire process, and that communication is something customers love.”
