Although it’s been more than a year now since the COVID-19 pandemic hit our world and things are trending in the right direction toward normalcy, it’s still a crucial time to remember the proper safety measures and health guidelines to keep everyone safe.
Throughout the past year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving teams have worked hard to ensure we are following the necessary guidelines and protocols to keep both our customers and our teams safe while adding in new sanitation requirements to minimize the spread of COVID-19. It’s important to us to do our part, and we want our customers to feel safe when they hire us, too.
Along with these sanitation improvements and health guidelines, we’ve also worked to add in new social distancing options such as improving our virtual in-home estimates so we can provide accurate moving quotes to customers without ever entering their home. For new services like our junk removal option, we have initiated contactless, curbside pickup options as well to eliminate exposure with our customers.
If you’re planning a move during the upcoming busy moving season, we encourage you to reach out to the franchise in your area and discuss any safety or health concerns you might have regarding COVID-19 prior to your move. Our moving consultants will be happy to talk you through every step of the process to ensure you are comfortable and ready come moving day.
In the meantime, here are a few common questions we’ve been asked regarding moving and COVID-19.
How is TWO MEN AND A TRUCK working to operate safely to stop the spread of COVID-19?
All franchises are following guidelines that have been put in place by the federal and local governments, as well as the CDC. All locations are taking extra measures and precautions to adhere to the highest safety standards, including the regular sanitation of trucks and equipment, having movers and drivers use hand sanitizer throughout the move, and maintaining social distancing best practices with our team members and customers.
If I have a move, is it still happening?
If you have any questions or concerns about your upcoming move, please contact the location you’ve booked your move with to confirm details of your move and to let the move team know if you have any special requests or concerns for move day.
Can I cancel my move due to COVID-19 concerns?
You will need to reach out directly to the location you booked your move with to talk through canceling or rescheduling your move.
