We consider our frontline team members – movers, drivers, and move consultants – our moving experts. They interact and create memorable move experiences with our customers daily! It’s safe to say, they know a thing or two about home and business moving, packing, and everything in between.
So when it comes to providing the best tips for completing your upcoming move, who better to ask than our moving experts?
A few of our TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise team members provided their best tips for customers looking to save a little bit of money and take some stress out of their next move.
Here’s what they had to say!
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is the first and largest franchised moving company in the United States. Let us help move you forward! For more helpful tips and information on moving services subscribe to our blog and like us on Facebook.
My experience with 2 Men in a truck was terrible!! The first time 3 weeks ago the truckk was too small..So 50% of my house was still in Whitelake. 2/18 21 they came at 10:30 instead of 9am. The truck was to move my tractor for the grass cutting, they came with a truck with no lift gate, so the tractor is still in Whitelake. When we got to Detroit mind you we had 6.5 inches of snow. They walked in the house feet full of snow and ice and did not care. I ask Mel( team lead) to ease cover your shoes or remove them. He said company policy says we cannot remove their shoes. I told them they cannot track the snow on my white carpet. I also have a new washer with a smashed top, broken dishes, my Chippendale 12 foot table broken on the corner because Mel did not listen to me tell him how to bring the table in the house correctly. The table and chairs cost $6,000.00 new. I asked Mel do we have a problem here because you are not listening. He just walked out and got in the truck,I asked one of the movers are you going to put my side door back on the hinges?? So against Mel’s request to leave the helper came back and put my side door back on. I thanked him. I used 2 Men in a truck in 2012 moving from Memphis to Detroit,, no problem at all. This team leader I give an “F” too for his lack of customer satisfaction. I will never use this company again, they turned out to be the worst I have every used. For 22 years I moved furniture with my brother and family. My motto was nothing broken or scratched and t he customer was the one to tell us were to put each item. Them Manager Dave was to call no contact at all from 2 Men in a truck.
