Movetrac is a free, online resource that anyone can access from their phone or computer to help them stay organized and informed when preparing for a move. Organization and preparation are two things we can’t stress enough when it comes to an upcoming move. Movetrac takes both of those ideas and provides an interactive website to guide you through the moving process. The best part? It’s free and you don’t have to be a customer to use it.
So, how can it benefit you?
Checklists
After you fill out a profile to provide movetrac with information about you and how you want your move to go, movetrac will build a tailored moving checklist just for you. It features an easy to follow to-do list that you can monitor as you work toward moving day.
Progress tracking
Your progress throughout your move is tracked in movetrac, and it has a timeline feature that lets you know how you are coming along. It will even alert you about tasks you have missed on your to-do list.
Extensive resources
To match the information presented with your checklists, movetrac also features an extensive library of resources that will help to answer any questions you have about moving. From moving tips to ideas on how to get prepared, all things moving are covered in this section of movetrac.
While movetrac was created by our team at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, this is not intended to sell you our services. This is simply another way for us to help anyone in the world who is going through a move, and helping people move is what we do.
Similarly, we will never share or sell the data you provide to movetrac. We wouldn’t want anyone selling our information, so we aren’t going to do it you, either.

Do not work with this company. We scheduled them for packing and moving. Our pack job was absolutely horrendous! They sent 3 kids who didn’t know what they were doing. They only had to pack 2 small closets, 2 lamps, a floor mirror, 2 hanging mirrors, 5 paintings, 5 larger picture frames, a 5ft x 5 ft painting, the kitchen (which was already half packed by us) and the garage, 75% of which they left for the movers to do the next day. It took them 4 hours, yes that’s right, 4 HOURS to pack that little amount of stuff.
We have been through multiple professional packs and moves before so we can tell when they are moving slowly just to fill the time. On top of that, there were numerous other problems. They missed packing everything in one of the closets. The packers didn’t bring proper tools with them either, no scissors or cutting utensils and no markers so they didn’t label most of what they packed. They packed fragile items on top of metal objects and then OVERPACKED boxes to such a ridiculous point that they were bulging 5 inches high and couldn’t be stacked.
We couldn’t even believe how bad it was! They wrapped everything, both fragile and non-fragile items in balls of bubble wrap and tons of tape. We have video of how a small wooden non-breakable candle was wrapped in about 3 ft of bubble wrap and 2 ft of tape. They used 10 times the amount of bubble wrap, paper and tape than what was needed, which not only increased our bill but is horrible for the Earth. The team from THEIR OWN COMPANY who had to re-pack stuff the next day couldn’t even believe what they were seeing and how BAD IT WAS.
The packers were courteous but didn’t have a clue as to what they were doing. They asked us if we knew how to put the dish barrel boxes together. What? Aren’t they supposed to know how to do that??? Needless to say, dish barrels didn’t get used for dishes. When we asked them where the mirror boxes were that we had special ordered for our paintings and art work, they had absolutely NO CLUE what we were talking about so they wrapped everything in bubble wrap and tape INSTEAD OF THE MIRROR BOXES WE SPECIAL ORDERED. And guess what? The frames were DAMAGED. Huh! Ya think?!? Yes, our $1600 5ft by 5ft custom frame was cracked because even though we REPEATEDLY ASKED THEM to take it out of the bubble wrap and tape and put it in the special box we ordered, THEY DIDN’T DO IT and we aren’t sure if they are going to reimburse us or not because WE ARE GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM THESE PEOPLE.
They had to send extra guys the day of the move so they could fix the horrible job the packers did the day before. Watching the team repack stuff on the 2nd day was more EVIDENCE to us that the 4 hours it took the packers the day before was BS. They worked slow to fill 4 hours worth of time instead of working at a normal pace and getting it done in 2 hours, which is all that was needed for 3 people to pack what we needed packed.
The movers assured us our art work would be handled with care yet they took the art work (that was wrapped in bubble wrap instead of mirror boxes), put it in a speed pack and threw a bunch of sharp tools and things from the garage in with it.
On the day of the move, we expressed our concerns about the pack job (we didn’t know about the damaged frame and some of the other stuff at this point – think of how busy and stressful moving day is) and were told Ryan Clark would call us. We have been told multiple times by multiple people at 2 Men and a Truck since our move day that Ryan Clark would call us and HE HASN’T. We have left several messages for Ryan Clark and HE HAS NOT CALLED US BACK. Today, nearly 7 weeks after our move, our PHONE CALLS HAVE NOT BEEN RETURNED. We called and asked to talk to Ryan Clark’s boss, who is Ryan Conlin. We were assured Ryan Conlin, Ryan Clark or SOMEONE from 2 Men and a Truck would call us back and yet NO ONE HAS.
We paid double what we should have paid for the packing job, and with the horrible job that was done, we shouldn’t have to pay anything for the pack job in my opinion. We also had to pay extra in tips – to the tune of $200 in extra tips – because they had to send extra guys the day of the move to get everything done WHEN IT WAS THEIR FAULT THEY HAD TO SEND EXTRA GUYS.
I am in disbelief that a company would simply ignore their unhappy customers. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and in fact, will be spreading the word about them and how they treat their customers. WATCH OUT PEOPLE. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE WORK OF THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THEY RIP PEOPLE OFF.
