Each TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving location is independently owned and operated, with each setting their own specific rates for moving. A majority of our franchise moving locations charge hourly for local moving and by weight for a move that is long distance. Packing options and supplies

Need packing supplies? We’ve got plenty of them! Need packing done and don’t want to do it yourself? We can help with that, too! Our movers can come out and do all of the packing for you prior to move day, or drop off the proper moving boxes and packing supplies to ensure your items stay organized and safe throughout your move.

An in-home walkthrough with the movers

Prior to your moving team getting to work, they’ll do a walkthrough of your home. This allows them to see the landscape of rooms so they can bring the proper moving materials to keep your belongings safe and secure during the moving process.

This also helps your team know where they’ll put extra protection on doors or walkways, and what furniture needs to be padded and stretch wrapped before loading into the truck.

A walkthrough of your new home location

A necessary step in the moving process is your move team getting to know your new location before they begin unloading your belongings. They’ll want to identify key rooms, like the master bedroom or spare bedroom, so they know what boxes and furniture will belong to each room when unloading.

Final walkthrough of the home and truck

Here your movers will want to go through the home with you to ensure everything is where it needs to go. If something isn’t in the correct spot, be sure to let them know before they leave! You’ll also want to do a final look inside the truck to ensure no items, furniture, or boxes are left on the truck.

Time to leave a review

  2. I am thinking about moving. I just moved in with some friends because I’m disabled. I was thinking about moving into Cresswood village south, but I haven’t fully checked everything out yet. I can’t do anything due to my disability. I will get back to you when I get all this figured out. How much do you need down
