TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchises gearing up for Busiest Move Weekend

The sun’s out, the temperature’s rising, and that means one thing – it’s moving season! All around the country, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchises are gearing up for our 2018 Busiest Move Weekend, which will take place from Friday, June 29, through Sunday, July 1.

According to MovingLabor.com, the peak moving season usually begins in April and continues until September, with an average of 40 million people in the United States completing moves each year and an estimated 80% of that number coming during the peak moving season. That’s a lot of moving! As the nation’s largest franchised moving company, this is our time to shine, and we are more than ready to tackle Busiest Move Weekend with the highest levels of customer service and care found in the moving industry.

During our 2017 Busiest Move Weekend, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchises all across the country completed a whopping 6,008 moves. For 2018, we’re on pace to have another crazy weekend, with a few projected numbers that include:

-6,200 moves completed

-An average of 22 moves completed per franchise location

-3,100 trucks in operation

-372,000 miles traveled

-37,131,800 pounds worth of belongings moved
